Anna Laura Quinn

VOCALIST

{ New Orleans // San Francisco }

Debut EP now available!

I Feel the Sudden Urge to Sing! is singer Anna Laura Quinn’s debut EP, and a heartfelt reflection of the musical path that she has charted thus far in her life: from her earliest memories of singing along to Disney’s Sleeping Beauty as a wee child, to listening to the Ella Fitzgerald Songbook albums her mom played when she was growing up; and from the dark, lush musical world of Kurt Weill that she discovered in her 20s in New York City, to the classic mid-century stylings of vocalists like Nancy Wilson that have entered her vocabulary while studying in the UNO Jazz Studies program.

{ Featuring: Scott Foster - guitar; Joe Kyle, Jr. - bass; Justin Ouellet - violin; Rob Reich - accordion : : : : Recorded in April 2018 at Women’s Audio Mission in San Francisco. }
