Anna Oiseau in New Orleans, December 2017.

Anna Laura Quinn lives for art, music, and exploration. She grew up in San Francisco studying French in a bilingual school, and was translating for her family on trips to France even before she was a teen. She later learned Portuguese while living in Brazil for several months. She attended NYU and earned a BFA in Studio Art, and lived in New York City for seven years before moving to New Orleans in 2010.

The wild and beautiful Crescent City has been inspiring and nurturing her creative growth ever since. Anna is rapidly become a much talked about jazz singer among local musicians and is currently working on her masters degree in Jazz Studies at the University of New Orleans.

Anna also makes frequent trips to her native San Francisco, where she is regularly featured with the Americano Social Club, and is growing her musical community every summer as a camper at Jazz Camp West.

While immersed in music, she continues her work as a jewelry designer and is the founder and curator of Corner Studio, a multi-artist studio and community event space located in New Orleans 7th Ward neighborhood.
